Inflatable Seals
Advanced Pneumatic Sealing Solutions
Inflatable Seals are specially engineered elastomeric sealing components that expand when pressurized with air or another suitable medium, creating a secure and adjustable barrier between two mating surfaces.
Unlike conventional compression seals, inflatable seals can accommodate variable gaps, uneven surfaces and movement between components. When inflated, the seal expands to achieve reliable contact; when deflated, it retracts to allow easy opening, movement or removal of the mating component.
They are available in a wide range of profiles, sizes, elastomer compounds and configurations, including custom-designed solutions for demanding industrial applications.

Important: Pressure, temperature, working height, stroke, dimensions and cycle life must be confirmed against the final seal design and operating conditions. Reinforced inflatable seals can be engineered for substantially higher pressure and demanding environments.
Recommended for: Water, steam, outdoor environments and weather-exposed applications.
EPDM provides excellent resistance to weathering, ozone, water and steam, making it a versatile choice for general industrial sealing applications.
